By accessing and using the Woow mobile application ("App"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Woow is a content viewing and discovery platform that allows users to:

• Watch and listen to content from local creators, artists, and political figures
• Participate in live streaming events and discussions
• Connect with other users and content creators
• Discover and attend local events and gatherings
• Engage with content through comments, reactions, and sharing

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the App, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your account information to keep it accurate
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

4.1 Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the App to:

• Upload, post, or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property rights
• Harass, bully, or intimidate other users
• Spread misinformation or fake news
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or other users' accounts
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our written consent

4.2 Content Standards

All content shared on the platform must:

• Be original or properly licensed
• Respect the rights and dignity of others
• Comply with community guidelines
• Not contain explicit sexual content or graphic violence

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our Rights

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Woow and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

5.2 Your Rights

You retain ownership of content you create and share on the platform. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content within the App.

5.3 Third-Party Content

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact us.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Payment and Subscription Terms

Some content on the platform may require payment. By making a purchase, you agree to pay all charges at the prices then in effect.

Refund policies are determined by individual content creators. We will facilitate refund requests but cannot guarantee refunds for all purchases.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by using the delete account feature in the App or by contacting us.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

9.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. We may delete your account and associated data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

10.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10.2 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes may be submitted to appropriate legal authorities.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
